Questions & Answers
01 Where are you based out of and do you travel?
I am based in Muncie, Indiana, but I do weddings through most of Indiana and parts of Ohio as well. I have yet to do a destination wedding outside of the Midwest yet, but I'd be open to the idea. Send me an email, and we'll chat! I do everything from elopements & very small weddings, to very large gatherings.
02 Do you take requests?
YES! I love taking requests. It's what I specialize in doing. I want to make the ceremony completely unique to YOU, so you are welcome to pick EVERY single piece if you'd like. I play everything from Bach to Led Zeppelin.
03 Do you play outdoors?
Yes! That is also another favorite of mine! I think outdoor weddings are the best, (no judgement to indoor weddings!) You just have to make sure you have a back-up plan in case of inclement weather, or a covered canopy or something if it is drizzly outside that day.
04 Do you have your own amplification?
Although amplification is not usually necessary for most of the weddings I do, it can become important if you have a rather large wedding, or if it is incredibly windy, or if there is a large fountain or something else that would create white noise nearby. And yes, I am happy to bring my own amplification if it is needed.
05 Do you come to the rehearsal?
For most wedding ceremonies, I come an hour or so before I am scheduled to perform and discuss details & timing with the officiant. However, I am happy to come to the rehearsal as an add-on to the ceremony package you have chosen for your peace of mind.
06 Are you able to climb stairs with your harp?
Yes, but it does take a lot of extra effort - the harp is very heavy and sort of bulky. However, I completely understand the beauty of having an intimate wedding in a converted barn loft though!! (I've played several of those!). If this is a requirement for your ceremony, just message me and we'll figure out. I can also play in somewhat rugged terrain such as a field, forest, etc. Get ahold of me and let's talk about your specific needs!
